26-year-old Pierre Defays from Namur in the south of Belgium studied at Oscars International for just over one month. On the day he finished his course we sat down with him to have a quick chat about his experience in Dublin.
I wanted to improve my English and I like music and rock n’roll. I’m a fan of U2 so for me Dublin was an important place to visit.
I stayed with a host family in Greenhills with a lady named Michelle. It was good place to stay because it was quite close to the school. It was quiet but I lived with different people from all over the world; students from Italy, Mexico and France and it was very interesting to meet them.
I liked Oscars. The locality is good because you are very close to Temple Bar and this is very cool. And I like the internal website of Oscars where you can make requests and send internal emails if you have a problem.
I liked the teachers and the whiteboards too. I went to Malta in February and it was good but I liked the method here more and my English is better. One month is short but it is better I think.
