We are feeling zen in Dublin. At Oscars International English School Dublin we ‘recommend culture’ and we let our students know what’s going on in the great city (aka town). This week we have a look at three events that are happening near Dublin City Centre and further afield over the next few days.
This year’s Dublin Book Festival involves four days of discussions, debates, performances, workshops, walking tours and lots of book chat!
The Dublin Mind Body Experience returns to the RDS this November. With free admission, 190 exhibitors, 75 hours of free talks & workshops, free yoga & meditation classes.
This event brings together exhibitors, practitioners and speakers from the world of holistic health & wellbeing. The event hosts 50 hours of free talks and workshops and 40 holistic therapists offering mini treatments, advice and information. You will also find a fantastic array of exhibitors providing holistic health products & Information, specialist books, crystals, handcrafted jewellery, angelic gifts, natural skincare, herbal remedies, oils and essences and much more.
Entry is free but organisers strongly advise that you pre-register. We may have to limit access to classes, talks and possibly the venue at busy times, those who have pre-registered will have priority access.
The National Gallery of Ireland is a lovely space to get away from it all even for a few minutes. Six times a week the gallery tour guides offer free tours highlighting some of the most famous works on display. Works by Picasso, Jack B Yeats, Mark Rothko and many more are on display here and there is nothing stopping you from going as often as you like. We wold recommend going late on Thursday when the gallery is less likely to be full.
